A My Winter Car mod for two: one village, one house, one car. One player hosts the game with their own save, the other joins them through Steam.
Each player needs their own key, as well as their own copy of My Winter Car on Steam.

Each player has their own money, hunger, thirst and fatigue. The shop basket is shared, though — take turns at the till!
Getting started

Buy the keys
One for each player. Right after you pay, the key shows up on the page and arrives by email with the download link.

Install the mod
Unpack the archive and run “Winter Car Together.exe”: the launcher finds the game in Steam and installs the mod. Paste your key into its settings: it is activated on your Steam account.

Play
The host clicks “create game” in the launcher, the friend clicks “join a friend” and picks the host. The host’s world downloads in a few seconds.
Buy a key
Before you buy
- Each player needs their own copy of My Winter Car on Steam. The mod does not include the game.
- Windows 10 or 11, with Steam signed in to the account that owns the game.
- Made for game version v.261008-01. The game is in Early Access: after a game update the mod may not start until a mod update is out.
- Exactly two players: a host and one friend.
Payment through Robokassa, cards issued outside Russia included. The price is in rubles; your bank converts it (about $3.50).
Questions
How do I play My Winter Car online?
The game itself is single-player. Winter Car Together adds play for two: install the mod with the launcher, then the host clicks “create game”, the friend clicks “join a friend” and picks the host. Each player needs a key.
Does my friend need a key too?
Yes, each player has their own key, as well as their own copy of the game. You can buy your friend a key as a gift: give their email when you buy, and the key goes to them.
Is the key tied to my Steam account?
Yes. The first time the launcher checks it, the key is activated on your Steam account, and it plays only on that account, on any computer. Changed accounts? Write to support@wintercartogether.ru and we will move it.
Can three of us play?
No, the mod is made for exactly two: a host and one friend.
What happens to my save?
The world lives in the host’s save, and only the host saves it. The launcher backs up the save before every session, and the mod keeps ten more recent copies. Your friend’s own single-player save is left alone.
The game updated and the mod stopped working
My Winter Car is in Early Access, and game updates sometimes break mods. We release a mod update, and the launcher downloads it with your key. If the mod still does not work 14 days after you write to us, you get your money back.
I lost my key or the email
Check your spam folder. If the email is not there, write to support@wintercartogether.ru from the address you bought with and we will send the key again.
Can I pay from outside Russia?
Yes: Robokassa takes cards issued by foreign banks. The price is in rubles, and your bank charges it in your currency at its own rate.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
The launcher has no paid code signature, so SmartScreen does not know it yet. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
Do we need the internet and Steam?
Yes. The friend connects to the host through Steam, so both of you need to be online and on each other’s friends list.
Is this an official mod?
No, it is a fan mod: Amistech Games did not make or review it. If something does not work, write to us at support@wintercartogether.ru, not to the game’s developers.
